30 Years of Quality, Trust, and Innovation in Printing
Bakon Mühendislik AŞ was founded in 1994 in Istanbul to provide maintenance and repair services for newspapers and printing houses. The name of our company originates from the words “BAKım” (maintenance) and “ONarım” (repair), directly reflecting our founding purpose. From the very first day we entered the sector, we have embraced sustainable quality, technical expertise, and customer satisfaction as our core principles.
Over the years, we have expanded not only in technical service but also in areas such as consumable supply, blanket production, and the representation of international brands. Today, with our own production capacity, we provide solutions to hundreds of printing houses across Turkey and collaborate with our global partners as an indispensable engineering firm in the industry.
Our Production and Technology Power
Bakon holds the distinction of being the first company in Turkey to establish a blanket beveling workshop. We import Vulcan brand blankets in roll form and, at our production facility in Istanbul, cut and bevel them according to customer requirements, preparing them for immediate installation. This has allowed us to significantly reduce delivery times and eliminate many technical errors that can occur during the blanket mounting process.
Over time, we not only started producing blankets but also reached the capacity to manufacture the bevels themselves. Previously fully imported, these components are now produced in-house and exported abroad. In doing so, we increase local production and gain both cost and time advantages.
In our 3,000 m² closed-area facility, we maintain high production and stock capacity thanks to our constantly updated machine park. With our backup production lines, we can respond rapidly even to urgent demands.

Thanks to these partnerships, we offer not only product sales but also end-to-end solutions including installation, service, training, and consultancy. A large portion of the Technotrans ink pumping systems currently in use in Turkey were designed and installed by Bakon.
